The A3(M) is a short motorway running from Horndean to Havant, connecting the A3 London road to the M27 and the coastal road network. It provides the quickest route from Waterlooville and the northern parts of the area to the A27 and the coastal towns. The road carries heavy commuter traffic at peak times, particularly at its southern end where it meets the M27.
